Franda earrings

The artefact

These ceramic pendants, enriched with small miniatures, remind of sa franda, the decorated and embroidered apron worn traditionally by Sardinia women. Made in different forms, colours and motifs, they reinterpret sophisticated engraved and painted decorations with brilliant colours on matte surfaces, a distinctive mark of the artist's expressive language.
