Amphora with four handles and with false strainer

    The artefact

The lines and decorations of this refined vase draw inspiration from those of a pear-shaped vase which was found at Santa Anastasia’s Sacred Well in Sardara depicting a nuraghe with five towers and the typical symbol of concentric circles. Handcrafted using a lathe, it is part of the Nuragica line, representative of the refined production of this ceramist that reinterprets and synthesises in style the themes of the archaic culture of the island.
