Su Pistoccu carpet with honeycomb border
The artefact
The traditional diamond-shaped flower motif - Su Pistoccu – is rendered by elegantly combining bordeaux on a neutral background with a honeycomb border, a motif of small diamonds. Handwoven using a horizontal loom according to the traditional pibionis relief technique, the carpet is made of cotton yarn, available in several sizes and color combinations.
