This mask in dark brown hide strikingly reinterprets the grotesque Mamuthones mask, a fascinating yet frightening figure of the traditional carnival of Mamoiada. Finished with a special strap so that it can be worn, it is finely handcrafted, shaped on a wooden mould with procedures personalised by this craftsman. It is part of the Maschere della Sardegna (Masks of Sardinia) line, which appealingly interprets the distinctive masks of the local carnival.
