Brocade plate

The artefact

This ceramic plate, hand-crafted and decorated, features a red Broccato insert that reinterprets local traditional baskets embellished with fine s’impanna fabric, in an innovative way. The hint to tradition combines with the neat surfaces of the artifact and the balanced of the black and white enameled and crackled sections.
