Zucca and Tazzucca

The artefact

Zucca e Tazucca, meaning jug and cup, is an explicit tribute to the agricultural and pastoral Sardinia, used to exploit the elements of Nature as containers for different purposes. The project is the result of the collaboration between Tore+Marì designing duo within the Domo project, IX edition of the Biennale dell'Artigianato Sardo: two different sensitivities joining and generating new forms and colours and ideas. Balanced in its proportions, featuring smooth surfaces and lines, bright and solid colours, it provides a surprisingly modern example of contemporary craftsmanship.
