This remarkable round shaped basket used to gather saffron is robust, and comes with a practical handle. It is entirely handcrafted using the weft and warp weaving technique. Characterised by ever different manufacture, this artefact is mainly made with cane and the woven bottom is made with wild olive and white willow wood.
