    Eleonora's jug

    The artefact

This fine version of the traditional brocca pintada (painted jug) is dedicated to Eleonora d’Arborea, an important female figure in local history, represented with virtuosity in the lavish decoration with plastic additions. The artefact is the culmination of careful research carried out by the ceramist Angela Zoccheddu into momentous historical, religious and traditional themes in order to craft distinctive productions of great conceptual and artistic value.
