Askoide jug

The artefact

The original lines of the pouring vase are inspired by the shapes of the Askoide jug of the Nuragic civilisation and interpreted with striking formal synthesis using white and iridescent metal glazing. Handcrafted using the lathe, this artefact is representative of the production of this ceramist who investigates the styles and themes of the local archaic culture.
