    Aritanis pendant

    The artefact

The circular shapes with relief motifs of this pendant in white and vibrant light-blue glazed ceramic, with bright gold touches, echo the charismatic figure of the nuragic pintadera, an archaic well-wishing seal for bread, and in particular of the Madonna del Rimedio found in the Nuragic site in Oristano. Handcrafted, it is decorated with blends of crystal and glazes personalised by this ceramist, with prized lustre work which is realised with third firing and hand-woven cord.
